My thoughts:

The Locker Room is a college sports romance that I would recommend for those that love a good slow-burn or friends to lovers story.

Initially I liked Emory despite some of her hang ups because of being hurt by a former boyfriend. She seemed to have all the characteristics I love in a good heroine. Sass, charm, and a strong attitude. She knew what she wanted and what she deserved. She really makes Knox work for it and that is not a bad thing at all. Where things went downhill for me with Emory is at the 75-80% mark. I wanted to shake her for her stubbornness and awful decisions.

Knox was perfection. His relationship with him mom got me in the feels. His pursuit of Emory was addicting and loved that he was not giving up.

I just love the knack Meghan Quinn has for combining the perfect amount of witt, charm and funny banter, not to mention the chemistry and passion. It was off the charts with Knox & Emory.

The narrators, Rock Engle and Felicity Monroe were a perfect pair and did an amazing job bringing Emory and Knox to life.

4 stars. I am looking forward to the next books in this series.

***MY THOUGHTS***

In the Unlikely Event is a book like no other. You do not only read this book, you experience it. The talented L.J. Shen blew me away with her compelling writing. The love I have for this book is indescribable. It is packed with so much love, angst, passion, heartbreak, forgiveness and second chances. It is one of the most unique and creative love stories I have ever read, and I devoured it. The minute I started it I could not put it down. When you pick up this book, be ready to forgo all responsibilities because it will capture you and not let you go.

The book is set in Tolka, Ireland, a small town near Dublin. Having Irish roots I have always connected to books set in Ireland and I knew I’d fall in love with this little town and community right from the beginning.

The book is one incredible roller coaster ride. You will feel so much, experience all the highs and lows right alongside these characters. With all the secrets and lies, there is a ton of angst and your heart will ache but it will also melt, and swoon, and sigh and laugh. The emotion you feel, is a high you will never want to come down from.

Aurora (Rory)

Rory is a super sassy, sweet young woman. She has a huge heart and is incredibly protective of those she loves. She is passionate and creative, and has a real eye for the beauty of photography.

**MY THOUGHTS**

4 STARS ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Piper & Rayne have captured my heart with the Bailey family, and in book # 5, Demise of a Self-Centered Playboy we have Denver and Cleo's story. 

How much I loved Denver was so unexpected! I adored him. In previous books we see him interacting with the family and was always the fun easy going brother but we do not know much about him other than his playboy ways. Let me tell you he is SO much more underneath. He is charming, caring, passionate and has so much heart. He is a little lost after loosing his mentor, Chip Dawson but it was beautiful seeing him navigate his way through the curveball Chip throws at him in his will. 

Enter Cleo Dawson, Chip's daughter. In the reading of Chip's will we meet Cleo as he has left fifty percent of his business, Lifetime Adventures to both Cleo and Denver, each. Honestly, I did not like Cleo at all at first. She comes in with this spoiled city girl attitude and I could not imagine Denver ever being able to break down her walls. But as time goes on she opens up and you see the struggles she has had to face in life without a lot of guidance and it makes her character very real and relatable. 

At the start of the book, Denver and Cleo aren't sure how they can are going to work and run a business together. They really can't stand one another except for their mutual attraction but as time goes on they open up and the banter and sexual chemistry is off the charts. 

One character I LOVE whole heartedly the more and more books I read in this series, is G'ma Dori. She provides so much heart and laughter to this bunch! I just cannot get enough of her and she continues her antics in Denver's book just as much as the rest, and I cannot wait for Phoenix's book coming in Janaury.

***MY THOUGHTS***

Man Cuffed was so hilariously fun to read. Sarina and Tanya are perfection together. I just love the way their writing compliments each other with their funny humor but also so much love and heart.

The laugh out loud moments got me right from the beginning. Meg thinking Mac was a real police officer and she tries to undress him? I couldn’t believe what I was reading but it had me in hysterics at the same time. Talk about epic meet cute.

Meg—oh how I loved her! Her cute quirkiness was adorable, her sass and sunny personality were infectious. Her spontaneity was refreshing & I loved her tell it like it is attitude.

Mac—what a growly alpha man he was! It took me some time to warm up to him. His manwhore ways were a bit over the top for me at times but in the end he did end up growing on me. I did appreciate his honesty right from the beginning with Meg about his hang-ups.

The connection between Meg and Mac was electric. Their chemistry was sizzling hot and I couldn’t get enough!

There were a lot of fun moments with Mac’s family and I enjoyed the unpredictable craziness of it all.

Lance was most definitely my favorite of the side characters and hope to see him get his own book in the near future.

Overall I enjoyed this and would give it 4 out of 5 stars. Rom-com lovers pick this one up. You won’t be disappointed you did!
