MY 5 STAR REVIEW 

Savannah and Liam's story was highly anticipated for me, and Piper Rayne did not disappoint. The push and pull, the slow burn, the humor and the steam--ALL OF IT made this book worth the wait.

Savannah is the oldest Bailey. She is a smart, savvy business woman and has had a tough time recovering from the death of her parents. She has closed herself off from any real feelings or relationships, and has always felt that the weight of running the family business has fallen on her shoulders and has lost herself along the way.

Liam is Savannah's brothers best friend and has always been a huge part of the Bailey family but they end up hooking up at Holly and Austin's wedding and sparks fly between these two immediately.

Liam was so much more than I expected from the little we get to know about him in the previous books in this series. He has an enormous heart. He is caring and adores Savannah so much. I just loved and the way he pushes her to return to her 'old' self prior to the death of her parents.

On top of the sweetness there are so many laugh out loud moments--and Grandma Dori is back at with her meddling ways that you can't help but laugh at, and Calista (Rome and Harley's daughter) killed me with some of the things she would say!

The thing I love so much about this series is it easy to fall in love with the Baileys and the town of Lake Starlight. From the first page, I was immersed in their world and did not want to come out. Denver's story is next, and I cannot wait!

Korie and Rhett. SIGH!! Love them soooo much! Rhett is a country star living his dream. He has all the charm you would expect him to have. Korie is my absolute favorite type of heroine. Total sass and attitude that gave Rhett a run for his money. Initially I couldn’t even handle Rhett’s cockiness. I caught myself rolling my eyes one too many times but then that cockiness turned into determination, and I LOVED that! A man that knows what he wants and did not give up. So sexy! and the way he pushes Korie to go after her dreams—total SWOON!  There were times when I wanted to smack Korie upside the head with all her stubbornness but overall I loved their connection. The epilogue was the absolute best! If you love a good love story mixed with humor and heart you need to pick this book up ASAP.  **ARC received in exchange for an honest review

You know how everyone was always asking what you wanted to be when you were older? Well I NEVER could decide.

I wanted to be a marine biologist.

A FIRE FIGHTER (thank you Joaquin Phoenix in Ladder 49 for that phase).

One day it hit me—A WRITER. I could do it ALL. Then you couldn’t stop me from writing. I penned my first novel at fifteen (but don’t ask me to show it to you, because it’s like I was in competition to beat the thesaurus).  When I was diagnosed with a chronic illness, writing became even more important, because it became my therapy. When I wrote my characters, suddenly I wasn’t so alone.

These days you can find me daydreaming about where to travel with my husband, singing in my car, or lost in the newest K drama. And planning my next novel, of course

MY 4 STAR REVIEW

Saffron A. Kent is an incredibly talented writer that knows how to write a forbidden/taboo romance like no other! The angst and the feels throughout this book had me turning the pages as I could not see how everything would unravel.

I loved the Beauty and the Beast feel. Graham hid himself away after a scandalous kiss between him and Violet on her 18th birthday. He is ashamed of himself and she puts herself out there accepting his cruel words and behaviour and does not back down on getting his forgiveness.

I loved the light that the author sheds on a teenager dealing with anxiety. It was very real, and my heart broke for Violet as she tried to fight her way through it.

I also adored the love, care, detail and attention Violet pays to Graham’s rose garden.

I loved the connection these two had as Violet breaks down Graham’s walls and once they finally get together their connection is steamy and worth the build up.  If you love an age gap, forbidden/taboo romance story you will want to pick this one up ASAP.

What a journey! J.T. Geissinger is a farely new to me author, but quickly she is becoming a new fave. I love absolutely everything she writes and Perfect Strangers was no exception. The journey she takes you on this book is emotional, deep and will having you feeling all the FEELS! with every word right from the beginning you will be deeply invested.

Olivia Rossi is an author, recovering from a painful past. She takes a 3 month vacation in Paris as a means to start over and recover from her constant state of sadness, and meets James, a well known artist. From the moment their eyes connect in a small cafe, you can feel it. Instant connection! In one look James exudes charm, power and strength and he will be draw you in immediately.

There was so much about Olivia that I loved. She was realistic and relatable character. Although recovering from a painful past she also has such a strong personalty. She didn't mince words and told it exactly as she saw it. She was not shy in telling James exactly what she wanted--and their chemistry off the charts and addicting.

Although this book was emotional it was also unpredictible, which kept me turning the pages and had so many twists and turns I did not see coming.

There is so much more I could say but I do not want to give anything away. This book and these characters will stay with you long after you finish it. Pick this up asap and find out for yourself! 5++ stars!
