Blurb:

Can you keep a secret?

I grew up sick.

Let me clarify.

I grew up believing that real love stories include a martyr or demand great sacrifice to be worthy.

Because of that, I believed it, because I made myself believe it, and I bred the most masochistic of romantic hearts, which resulted in my illness.

When I lived this story, my own twisted fairy tale, it was unbeknownst to me at the time because I was young and naรฏve. I gave into temptation and fed the beating beast, which grew thirstier with every slash, every strike, every blow.

Triple Falls wasnโ€™t at all what it seemed, nor were the men that swept me under their wing. But in order to keep them, I had to be in on their secrets.

Secrets that cost us everything to keep.

Thatโ€™s the novelty of fiction versus reality. You canโ€™t re-live your own love story, because by the time youโ€™ve realized youโ€™re living it, itโ€™s over. At least that was the case for me and the men I trusted my foolish heart to.

Looking back, Iโ€™m convinced I willed my story into existence due to my illness.

And all were punished.โฃโฃ

REVIEW

โ˜…โ˜…โ˜…โ˜…โ˜…

WOW! This is absolutely one of those โ€˜what did I just read booksโ€™ I am STUNNED! This book CONSUMED me from beginning to end. This is unlike any other book Iโ€™ve ever read and it is Kate Stewartโ€™s absolute BEST writing to date! Flock is utter perfection. The writing is unique, gripping, enticing, suspenseful, powerful and genius. The words, the characters the story, EVERYTHING completely ruined me. Cecilia has just moved to Triple Falls to live with her estranged father. She plans to stay for a year. Keep a quiet life and tow the line. However, all of that changes the moment she meets Sean at the plant her father owns. He is nothing she sees coming and he absolutely turns her world on its axis. Everything she knew to be true is not true with mystery after mystery and secret after secret to uncover! This book is romantic suspense GOLD with some super erotic scenes! I LOVE books that keep me on the edge of my seat flipping the pages until you see how it will turn out and this one did that in spades. I am in no way ready for Exodus but at the same time I NEED this book yesterday! I am SO thankful that there isnโ€™t a long wait until book 2 is here! 5 stars is not even close to enough for this work of art and NEEDS to be experienced by every single romance reader out there. Go pick it up ASAP and prepare yourself. Have an open mind and be prepared for a reading experience like no other. You will not be able to put this down!
