The moment Lauren Blakely announced she would be co-writing a book with narrator, Joe Arden I could not wait to read it. Joe Arden is an incredibly talented narrator in the romance genre and knowing he would be writing with Lauren Blakely, queen of rom-com I thought what a fantastic pairing and I have been counting down the days until release date. I have been following both on social media and have loved seeing the teasers and what they have shared about the writing process.

It has been a long time since I read an all male POV book and Joe and Lauren nailed it with How to Get Lucky. It is delightful, funny, sexy and sweet. 

Teddy is a deejay for for a male revue and radio show, and is also working on getting his own deejay business up and running. He works hard and after a breakup a year ago he is looking for a woman that will light him up in the bedroom as his experiences have been lacking lately. I loved Teddy. He is a total sweetheart and all around good guy. He is sexy and confident and goes after what he wants. 

London is fiery and passionate. Her personality is the perfect mixture of sassy and sweet. She is a a talented dance choreographer and is also Teddy’s boss’ sister.

I adored these characters so much. They have such an easy, playful banter from their first encounter. Their chemistry is sexy and off the charts but they soon realize that a relationship between them is totally forbidden.

I loved their dynamic and the moment London throws down a challenge? Of course Teddy cannot resist in proving her wrong! These two have so much in common and it made me easily fall for them.
