The Angst Queen is back with this billionaire/second chance romance! I completely devoured this story. The chemistry and tension between Julian and Autumn was tumultuous and intense and the story sucked me in from the very first chapter.
Julian and Autumn have history. Growing up he was her brothers best friend and crushed on him most of her life. They grow close and she falls hard for him until he obliterates her heart by lying about his true feelings. Now 10 years later they are thrust back into each others lives as she has been hired as his publicist to clean up his image.
Throughout the book I had a serious love/hate relationship with Julian. He was completely arrogant and controlling most of the time, but then there were also small moments of vulnerability and charm and I wanted more! Autumn is strong, successful and tenacious. She excels at her job and is the best in the business. Agreeing to work with Julian is becoming one of the most infuriating jobs of her career. He will stop at nothing to get the upper hand with her. For most of the book I really felt for her. I understood her choices up until one crazy revelation that made me want to smack her silly!
If you like your romance on the angsty side and will keep you on the edge of your seat you will want to pick this one up! But, buckle up because you are in for one heck of a rollercoaster ride.
