BOOK REVIEW: One Year Home by Marie Force

One Year Home is one of the most heartfelt emotional books I have read in 2019. I absolutely LOVED Five Years Gone and didn’t know if this book would measure up but let me tell you it did and more. Right from the first chapter I was immediately taken back into the story of Captain John West and how things left off at the end of Five Years Gone. The incredible journey and recovery he goes through will pull at your heart strings the entire book. I loved that author also included Ava and Eric as they navigate their new marriage and Ava’s feelings after John’s capture. The authors writing is incredible and a true testament to what military families go through in real life. 5 stars does not even do this book justice. I would give it more if I could.  5 stars!!
