And every night she punishes herself by watching the man she lost live his life without her.

Fionn “Irish” McCullough can’t let go of the rage Lyse ignited the night she betrayed his team. Betrayed him. After months of searching, he’s no closer to finding his prey - until a mysterious message points him toward Ireland and a deadly threat against the only family he has left.

Caught in the twisted web of his past, Fionn must choose between revenge and keeping his mother safe. But the one weapon he needs - and the one touch he craves - may be the woman he can never forgive.

REVIEW

⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

Destroy Me by Ella Sheridan is a gripping romantic suspense story full of action, danger and mystery. It kept me on the edge of my seat from beginning to end as the sequence of events unfold. I will admit that when the story first began I felt a little lost not having read or listened to the previous book in the series but as time went on I was easily able to catch up and figure out what I missed at the end of Deceive Me.

Lyse is on the run in Ireland and dealing with the aftermath of planting a bomb that nearly killed everyone she loves. She is an intelligent, computer genius and has been in love with Fionn from the moment they first met.

Fionn is loyal and protective of those he loves but he feels betrayed by Lyse after the bombing and the moment he learns that she is Ireland, he is off to his homeland to exact his revenge on her. But the moment he gets there his protective streak comes out and as his hate towards her softens and turns into love as he will do anything to keep her from being harmed by the Irish Mob.

The chemistry and connection between Lyse and Fionn was evident from the start. Even though Fionn hides behind his hate and revenge there is a layer underneath that is attracted to Lyse even if he won’t admit it to himself at first. The story is a bit of a slow burn but holy sexual tension! It was off the charts and when they connect for the first time, it was completely worth the build up and intensity!

The narration done by Jason Clarke and Stella Hunter is performed in duet style, and I enjoyed every moment. This is one of Jason’s best performances. His Irish brogue was fantastic. I love the power and emotion in his voice as his character experiences a variety of emotion from anger, revenge, lust and then love. The way he whispers terms of endearment had my heart melting! Stella Hunter voicing Lyse’s character was great as well. She portrays Lyse’s vulnerable, sweet side as well as her sassy and fierce side flawlessly. Together these narrators did such a phenomenal job bringing this story to life!
