"You got married on your divorce-cation?"

That would unfortunately be correct.

I was hanging with the girls, celebrating my divorce, when I saw him - my crush, sitting in the corner of the bar, and all alone. Being single and looking for a wild night, I asked him if he wanted to join me. To my delight, he said yes.

Drinks were consumed, fun was had, and then....one drunken conversation with a cranky gondolier in Las Vegas led to an Uber lift through a drive-through wedding chapel with the incredibly hot British bad boy Pike Greyson. On paper, it seemed like I had hit the jackpot. And if I wasn't fresh from a toxic marriage, I would have absolutely noticed the finer things about him.

But I wanted nothing to do with being married, so when I arrived back home from my eventful weekend in Vegas, the last thing I expected to see was a new doting husband already moved in. I asked for an annulment; he pulled a Ross Geller and said no. That's right, he said no! Instead, he asked for three months to prove we could be good together.

Insanity clearly knocked him in the head, and the only way I could convince him to give up on our sham of a marriage was to show him just how wrong we were for each other. The only problem with that was, he saw right through my every prank, every trick, and every yearning emotion I attempted to mask.

REVIEW

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Meghan Quinn has written another fantastic, fun, hilarious, flirty, rom-com in Forest Heights world and I absolutely adored it. Pike and Cora's story begins with a bang, when they wake up in Vegas married! Cora was supposed to be celebrating her divorce being final but instead ends up marrying a sexy british, tattooed history teacher after a drunken night of shenanighans! Pike and Cora were so fun together. Their story is hot and steamy with a little bit of angst thrown in. Upon returning home after their Vegas marriage you would think a quick annulment would be the next steps, but Pike has other plans and convinces Cora to let him move in with her. This part of the story was the best! The frustration and tension of living under the same roof and trying to resist each other was hilarious. I couldn't get enough of their witty banter, laugh out loud moments, and undeniable chemistry. I loved Pike's friendship with Keiko. She is beyond quirky and over the top but she is one of those characters that you will never forget. This story in audio format was such a delight! Vanessa Edwin and John Hartley are phenomenal story tellers. Their voices captivated me immediately and kept me throughly entertained from beginning to end.
